I’m Hilary

I turned 50 in 2024 and hit that familiar milestone where you start asking big, echo-y questions like:

Is this it? Am I fulfilled? Do I really want to spend the next 30 years replying to emails about meetings that could’ve been a well-placed GIF?

So I started experimenting — chasing creative sparks I’d ignored for years. I opened not one, but two Etsy shops (because apparently I love chaos), tried my hand at becoming a wine influencer (cheers!), built a blog, learned the difference between Reels and TikToks, and tried to figure out if Threads is still a thing or just a group hallucination.

And while I haven’t gone viral (yet) or made a million bucks accidentally filming my dog sneezing in slow-mo, I have found something better:

Joy. Autonomy. A new kind of aliveness.

Along the way, I realized I could also help others find their next chapter — not just through inspiration, but through strategy. With 27 years of marketing experience, including nearly 20 years leading fundraising and donor engagement for a top international NGO, I now consult and coach nonprofits, small businesses, and influencers on strategy, marketing, and growth.
